Method (Serves 4)

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and use your hands to mix well together. Divide into four portions, roll each portion into a ball and then flatten into the shape of a burger.
  2. Put the burgers on a plate, cover with cling film and chill in the fridge for 20 minutes.
  3. Heat the grill to maximum temperature and cook the burgers for 8-10 minutes depending on their thickness.
  4. Toast the buns on the grill then fill with lettuce and top with a burger.

Tip: for an even lower fat version, swap the beef mince for turkey mince
