Method

  1. Slit open one side of the pitta breads and spread the tomato puree over the pitta breads.
  2. In a bowl combine the thinly sliced onions, tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, sweetcorn, ham or turkey, cheese & herbs together with the olive oil and mix well.
  3. Divide the mixture between the two pitta pockets and place on a hot grill. Grill for 3–5 minutes until fully heated through and the cheese has melted.
